The 2015 annual meeting of the Biodiversity Heritage Library Global Network will be hosted in Brazil and will approach the state of development of the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) and biodiverity related information systems.
Organized by the SciELO and BIOTA Programs of FAPESP, the meeting is addressed to biodiversity and scientific information related researchers and professionals. The scientific program will have national and international authorities and specialists.
The Global BHL Network (gBHL) covers South Africa, Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, United States and Europe. The BHL works collaboratively to promote open access to literature in biodiversity as part of the global biodiversity community.
Brazil joins the gBHL through the BHL-SciELO Network which involves information systems and libraries of the following institutions:
